yoo doo right – Sofort, Si Fort
“Sofort, Si Fort” splits its title across two languages, German rigor and French insistence, immediate and so strong at once. It’s the second single from yoo doo right’s fourth album, Build and Rest by the Shepherd’s Light, out November 6 on Mothland.
It follows Doldrums, Doldrums, Eviler Than the Devil (W34), built around a five-beat guitar figure pulling against a four-beat motorik rhythm. The Montréal duo, Justin Cober and John Talbot, cut the new record with Ky Brooks at Hotel2Tango and Error 403, mixed by Seth Manchester in Rhode Island.
